Matt Van Buskirk is a regulatory futurist and advocate for the development of open-source and interoperable software solutions for the regulatory space. He is a frequent speaker on regulatory modernization in venues around the world.

Prior to launching Hummingbird, Matt built the compliance function at Circle.com, the creator of the USDC stable coin and served as a regulator with the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Thrift Supervision.
